Same problem wit Ppro 14.3.2 on a iMac 2019 with 40 GB 2667 MHz DDR4.
This is an important tool in video editing, I would assume Adobe would have solved by now.
I have reverted to this version due to a problem with masks with the most recent version, and now I discover this bug with this version. Can we have a clean one eventually? -

I may have found a weird solution for certain cases. I use a GTX 1080 and AE
Have the Lumetri Scopes panel open (but blank), navigate to File, then Project Settings at the bottom. The Video Rendering and Effects tab should be the one that is open. Here you would switch from your GPU to CPU for rendering.
[*First, switch to your GPU if it isn't already and see if it works with your video card's 4GBs of VRAM or more.*]
In my case, the GPU was already correctly selected, but for some reason toggling the dropdown list made the Lumetri Scopes panel flicker and come back to life! Almost like smacking old TVs on their sides and top in the 90s.
Hopefully this works for you too...!

This is ridiculous. When the new software was available I started using it for a new project. Your software should have checked my computer and warned me that it was incompatible. Now I'm half way thru a project, ready to do color correction and poof, I can't use Lumetri scopes.
Not having $1000 or so sitting around to upgrade my computer plus all the peripherals that would become obsolete because Apple keeps changing hardware, I have a better solution.
When my Adobe subscription runs out, I won't be renewing it. -

I have the same problem... I made the upgrade to the new version and nothing... But, my machine was already struggling with version 2019 and 8 GB ram, so... It really could be a ram issue, like Gavin said. If so, this is an adobe issue too, because the program is demanding too much memory to work with some basic resources.

No Lumetri Scopes for 1-2 months now. How is this possible? Like others just an empty Scopes window. IMac late 2012. Premiere version 14.1.0 (Build 116)

SOLVED! After some digging, I found this forum article that solved this issue for me.
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/premiere-crashes-when-opening-lumetri-scopes/td-p/10818361?page=1From my understanding, essentially, your computer doesn't have enough v-ram so you're going to have to move back the previous version of Premiere Pro (13.1.5) 2019.
In my case I using a MacBook Pro mid 2012 with an SSD 16GB of RAM and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB... all of which apparently doesn't cut it for Premiere Pro 2020.
Anyways, I reinstalled Premiere Pro 13.1.5 and everything is working smoothly... including the Lumetry scopes!

Also having this exact same problem. It's very discouraging, as I'm only just dipping my toes into Premiere and encountered this pretty early on. :(
