14.0.1 Fails to Encode videos...
Both Premiere and Media Encoder versions 14.0.1 fail to encode/export videos. Temp workaround is to downgrade Media Encoder to 14.0.0 and use that for exporting. This needs immediate fixing!

I have the same problem with version 14.0.4
Did find the older version list and stepped back to 14.0.
But I shouldn't have to.

I wonder when we will get the fix for this problem. Lately, I am really scared with the new releases, I always wait at least a month before attempting to upgrade. Plus, not quite sure how it works where you guys live, here every time I need to contact Adobe, I am always waiting on the phone for at least 20 min to get to speak with anyone there. We pay a premium price, but it's been a while I don't feel we're getting a premium service for it....

I had to downgrade from 14.0.3 to 14.0 so I could export from PP or Media Encoder. By the way my project had no markers. So the markers deal did not apply to me. Please fix!!!!
Dina Rudick commented
Yep - doesn't work. Faulty update again. Please fix asap.

@David Mehl, thanks removing all markers seems to have fixed the issue and let me export. Ridiculous that this is an issue at all, but anyways thanks for that!

Had the issue that it would export the audio, but stuck at 0% when encoding the video.
But I found a fix: I had to remove all markers in the timeline and then it worked.

Rendering with 14.0.1 didn't work. (MXP Errors, not rendering at all...)
Since yersterday even 14.0 didn't work (it stops when rendering essential Graphics)
i solved it going back to CC19. No Problem at all in that Version.

FIRE ALARM agreed. I have gone through multiple combinations of Premiere Pro & Encoder. It works sometimes for me. Clearing all the markers is a complete nightmare to me. Is there any response from Adobe on a timeline to fix this? It is a major problem.
David Mehl commented
Temporarily removing all the markers works. Just Clear them all, Render, then Undo the clearing.

One more confirmation that downgrade to 14.0.0 worked. Many thanks for this!

Could anyone tell me if it's also buggy for AfterCodecs ? https://autokroma.com/AfterCodecs/
There is a free trial included in the download, you can export with H264 265 ProRes HAP etc.

Exports are glitching out in 14.0.1 for me encoder is not working at all
Jair Elliott commented
Also unable to export.
Keith Sutterfield commented
I am also unable to export in 14.0.1. Very frustrating!
Martin Handley commented
What an unacceptable bug.
Confirm rolling back to 14.0.0 resolves the issue.

This is unacceptable. I had to downgrade to 14.0.0. and it worked. but we shouldn't have to be doing this.

Same problem. Can't send my client their video... Problem here is I can export the video using AME 14.0 but it doesn't export the audio properly. And yes, the audio is rendered out in Premiere, and it is confirmed, still not exporting correctly.

+1 I am not able to export in a certain Project containing Dynamic Links to AE Projects. But I think thats not the cause even. I startet from fresh and build the Timeline new in a fresh Project, I deletet Caches, I re-installed PP2020 even. I deleted all the Dynamic Links an exchanged them with Prerendered Quicktime Media. But still the Export Progress bar stops or hangs right at 0% forever. PS: after reading suggestions here: I indeed have worked with many markers! Will try to roll back ME to 14.0 and see if this helps...
Update: I deinstalled MEncoder 14.0.1 (with deleting preferences) an installed v14.0 but that alone did not help.
BUT: Editing my Markers did fix the problem (but it's a real PITA). (deleting those "GUIDs" as mentioned here - thanks Kevin https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/how-to-solve-encoding-export-stuck-at-0-with-premiere-pro-adobe-media-encoder-14-0-1/td-p/10875118)
Do I have to also roll back my Premiere v14.0.1 to v14.0 or did rolling back MediaEcoder alone fix it for you guys?

Same issue here with h264. Rendering to ProRes (in timeline or export) is also broken and renders dark by about half a stop - regardless of GPU or software rendering engine. Rolling back to 14.0.0 was my only choice.
