zoom in and zoom out in program and source monitor
Zoom in and zoom out in program monitor is center, this is not good - whenever the mouse over there and zoom must be over there or hand tool is anyplace (the zoom out must be start from mouse point)
(Please make zoom in and zoom out, just like after effect)

Completely agree that the lack of intuitive zoom in the edit windows is a major pain and hard to understand what the product team is thinking here.

This feature needs added in. When working between After Effects and Premiere the lack of zoom in Premiere using shortcuts really effects workflow.

I find it amazing that many other adobe products, it recognises when your cursor is hovering over the program monitor panel, then it is easy to zoom in and out (mouse wheel key) or pan (by holding SPACE BAR). However, in Premiere Pro, you can do neither.
The only way is to use the "Hand Tool" (You have to press "H" to select it and deselect it)
When in After Effects, you simply Hold down the space bar while your cursor is on the program monitor panel, then you hold down click and when you release space bar and click, it simply stops panning.
The only way to zoom in on Premiere Pro is by almost leaving the program monitor panel and clicking the preset options (e.g. 50%, 100%, 200% etc) OR by clicking NUMPAD + or NUMPAD - to zoom in and out. This way takes too much time and is not streamlined.
It is disappointing that Adobe has completely neglected this feature in Premiere Pro CC.
