THIS IS MAJOR! This is going to be a problem with many customers going forward and needs to be corrected immediately.
Apple's new security chipset and Mojave (10.14) require that the software (Adobe) make a request of the operating system in order to access the camera. There is NO FUNCTIONALITY between Adobe and Mojave or Catalina without this fix. There is no way to force Apple to accept the camera as an input. Adobe Character Animator already addresses this bug, and we have tested that program to make sure. ALL OTHER ADOBE PLATFORMS MUST BE UPDATED WITH THE SAME CODE that asks for permission to access the camera (internal OR external) otherwise it is useless. I have 1=$15k work of studio equipment that is worthless because my computer won't talk to my camera. Please address this immediately!!!!

Hi, Douglas. First, my apologies for the inconvenience. That said, would you mind fleshing out your scenario, please? How are you trying to use your camera directly from within Premiere Pro? For what it's worth, Premiere Pro should have the same camera entitlement as Character Animator but (unfortunately) it appears something is amiss. If you could give us concrete steps to reproduce the problem that would help us track down the cause. Thanks!
