Motion graphic template's outro animation stops working after reloading project
As a motion design template I use an after effects composition with responsive design segments - intro and outro. When I reload the project in Premiere Pro,the outro animation disappears and my motion graphic ends with a regular cut. This problem exists since the beginning of Motion Graphic template's functionality.
Also, this problem appears when I cut a template's clip into two pieces - each piece doesn't have a new outro/intro, but it starts/ends with a regular cut. Once I loose an intro/outro segment, there is no way to get it back, other than dropping a new template on a timeline and changing all of the properties again.

Hi David,
I’m thrilled to finally be able to announce that the Premiere Pro v. 14.0.1 has new functionality to help resolve issues that happen when the retiming of a Responsive Time Mogrt gets out of whack.
We’ve added a new function called “Reset Duration” in the Graphics top bar menu, which will use the length of the track item in the timeline as the single source of truth for how long the Mogrt should be retimed to. So if anything ends too early all you have to do is select the Mogrt in the timeline, use the Reset Duration command in the top bar Graphics menu, and voila!
This will also work with multiple selections at a time.
No more manual re-trimming or redundant work.
And will work when you slice a Responsive Time Mogrt in half. Both halves will become whole when using Reset Duration.
The primary source of the issue stems from relinking to the Mogrt’s aegraphic file in the Motion Graphics Template Media folder. Having multiple projects pointing to the same root aegraphic or moving the project around and relinking to a different version of the same Mogrt can also get users into this state.
Hopefully this will help resolve some of the headaches that y’all have been experiencing. We tested a ton of scenarios, but you creative powerhouses work in a plethora of amazing ways that we cannot always predict. Please feel free to reach out if anything weird continues.
Hope everyone’s New Year is off to a great start,
Dacia

Hi Susana,
If the Reset Duration is greyed out, this usually indicates that the Mogrt is not a Responsive Time Mogrt made in After Effects. If you look at the Mogrt on the timeline, are there little tiny white triangles in the corner like in the attached image?
Would you mind sharing the Mogrt you are having issues with?
Thanks,

I'm having the same issue - the Premiere Pro MOGRT outro isn't playing. I clicked on the MOGRT on my timeline and went up to the Reset Duration command in the Graphics menu, but the Reset Duration command is greyed out.

Hi Dawid,
That sounds very frustrating. I'm going to email you directly here in a moment. I'd love it if you could share a screen recording of losing the outro on the reload of the project, as well as the Mogrt itself.
The second case that you mentioned regarding cutting the Mogrt into two pieces is as designed though. When you splice the clip it is like you actually cut it in half, so the left half will have the intro and the right half will have the outro. This was made in order to keep users from getting into an infinite loop of multiplying Mogrts with every cut.
That reload project situation is no bueno though and I'd like to help get to the bottom of things.
Cheers,
Dacia
