HEVC Out of Memory Failed To Create Encoder Premiere 2020
When exporting in both premiere and media encoder 2020, HEVC H265 exports fail, while they work perfectly in 2019.
error compiling movie
out of memory
failed to create encoder
error code: 7
32 GB ram
GTX 1060 3GB
updated from 2019 through creative cloud app
Error occurs whether or not CUDA is selected in media encoder.
Exporting in premiere or media encoder, lead to same error.
H264 encoding is fine.
Tried uninstalling and re-installing.

Same here latest version none h265 export works with CBR or VBR
I update all drivers and the latest version nothing fix and it used to render on older versions.

Thanks for this solution.
I would like to add that I cannot get a good HEVC CBR render out of AME at all.
If you look at the bitrate the file is very not constant bitrate. I use this for Brightsign syncing and they dont like much fluctuation in the bitrate which causes audio dropouts. I have to render at half the recommended bitrate to compensate for this!

I have the same problem. I have also other problems related to CUDA. Adobe is really not helping.

This bug made AE2020 useless for us. We switched back to AE2019.

Thanks, guys for the advice for the VBR instead of the CBR!
I got the same problem. But this 'solution' will work for now.

I wasted a lot of time on this. 2020 Media Encoder can't export HEVC in CBR format. Both will work separately, but never together. A LOT of time wasted. Switched back to old version and all is good now.

Having the same issue in CC 2020 - only if HEVC and CBR is set. VBR renders fine.
Works fine in CC 2019.
Seems to be a bug with 2020.
Threadripper 2950x - 128gb RAM - Geforce RTX 2080
In my case, the error only occurs when exporting CBR. Exports set to VBR work fine.
