Create Audio Mixdowns in Sequence
For professional teams, when working with offline footage and audio, we need to prep the sequence to send off to a finishing house via an AAF or OMF and would LOVE to be able to make mixdowns without re-importing into PRemiere.
Currently, we need to export a section of reverb (or any effect outside of EQ / Gain requiring a render) as an AIF, Import back into Premiere, then overcut. This needs to be done even with a nested sequence so the audio mixer has the source unaffected audio clips and our master mixdown of the small section.
In Avid, you can set ins and outs, select the track, and right-click "Render" > "Mixdown to Sequence..." and it creates the mixdown in the bin you want and drops it on a new track. This is SO useful it saves our team so much time when prepping for a finish.
