We do monitor User Voice; we share your disappointment that we don’t have a reproducible case, for this issue.
If you can reliably reproduce the ‘low level exception’ problem, on your system, please contact Support and provide them with any files and source media required for that repro case, as well as (important!) step-by-step instructions on how you can reproduce the issue.
We’re eager to pursue the issue further.

Any fix found?

Same problem - 2013 maxed out MBP, getting the low-level error lots of times, not just with 200% playback / shuttle... and sometimes can go for a while after the error pops up, other times, premiere grinds to halt, must be force quit.
switching to software only - allows slow crawling playback, with GPU-using-FX turned off -
this is really dragging out the editing process... and has had me downloading and installing Resolve Fusion to start making plans for a switch
Not getting value for subscription $ when half of my allocated edit time is spent searching web forums for basic and critical functionality like PLAYBACK

I keep getting the same display message, then losing control of playback and app only responds to force quit.
Same problem here. Trying to open projects that have multiple speed ramps in the timeline and Premiere will crash if any clips are set to over 200% speed. The only solution I have found is to disable GPU Acceleration and set the Video Rendering and Playback Settings to Software Only. It seems to help most of the time.

And again and again, I use the shortcut for fast forward and it crashes. Low level exception Adobe player 11

Same issue anytime I'm playing footage in double speed. Just shifted to a different model MacBook and experiencing it just as frequently. Upgrading to 14.0.1 did not make a difference.

Almost the same problem.
"A low-level excerption occurred in:ImportedMPEG (Imported:37)
Unable to create image buffer"
Please fix! As soon as possible! It's terrible with ADOBE.
Will I have to go back to Avid?

PLEASE FIX. This demands your immediate attention !! J,K,L are rudimentary functions ! Your software should be stable for as much as we pay for it !!

Same EXACT problem here. 22 computers in our editing lab here at Pine Crest School. Adobe Premiere Pro is un-usable. We are absolutely STUCK. FIX THIS TODAY PLEASE. We CANNOT EDIT.

I'm having the same problem. I'm on a 2018 Macbook Pro running OSX Catalina.
Midway through a project the entire computer just goes to sleep unexpectedly.
What is the fix?

Similar issue here; when trying to play back certain projects from 2018/2019, Premiere gives me this error (or sometimes it's Player: 60 instead) and after a couple seconds, it takes the plunge.
windows 10 pro, 10.0.18362
intel i7-9700 @3gHz
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
Premiere is installed on an SSD.
I literally can't work on some projects. If I was my boss, i would not extend that premiere subscribtion.

Same problem on both of our systems: iMacs both running Mojave 10.14.6. Neither resetting preferences nor setting to "Software Only" help.

Same issue here.
My system is MacBook Pro 15 inch 2018. 2.9 GHz 6-core Intel Core i9. 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4. Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB. Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Adobe, we pay good money to use your software, please fix this bug as soon as possible as it costs US money!

Just adding another voice to the same issue of J/K/L causing the same "low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Player (Player:11)" running on New MacBook Pro 16" requiring force quit and reopen.
I thought the issue was because I was using a project file that had originated in CC 2019, so created a completely brand new file with 2020, yet the same issue persists.
It's so hard to avoid using those keys when wanting to playback faster than 1x.

Trying to work and I get annoyed because when scrubbing through the timeline with J K L, it freezes and I have to force quit Premiere... seems like this issue has been recurring with other members since November... when can we expect a fix?
