bug report on premiere pro 2020: playback stop while playing on timeline and then display message: "A low-level excerption occurred in: Adobe Player (Player:11)" - then Premiere crash, and i have to force quit from force quit application. i'm working on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), 3,5 GHz Intel Core i7,
We do monitor User Voice; we share your disappointment that we don’t have a reproducible case, for this issue.
If you can reliably reproduce the ‘low level exception’ problem, on your system, please contact Support and provide them with any files and source media required for that repro case, as well as (important!) step-by-step instructions on how you can reproduce the issue.
We’re eager to pursue the issue further.

I have the same problem, and I have tons of works to do for my cilents!!! I am using Macbook-mid2015.

I'm also having this problem. If a frame skips I get the error code and Premiere crashes.
Every time these things happens in CC, I'm any of the program one are using, one should get the subscription for free until it is solved!!!!!!
Calling adobe now... waiting on the phone for 15 min then i get disconnected, called 3 times by now, happy customer....not...

Upvoted and impatiently waiting. This has caused quite a delay in my projects over the past week or so. I keep forgetting to not fast forward or rewind (muscle memory) and having to force quit and restart. I would have switched over to my Avid by now if the client on this current project didn't require the finally delivery project to be in Premiere.
Is there any update on when they'll be able to patch this bug?

Having the same issue, using a pretty much brand new 27-inch iMac with 64 GB of RAM, 3.6 GHz Intel Core i9. Would love a patch!

Having same issue
Changed Sequence settings from Arri Cinema 23.976fps to Quicktime Pro Res 422 23.976fps and still same issue.
I also resent the preferences by holding down OPTION key when PR 20 loading and still same things.
Please help! I need to scrub thru footage using shortcuts J, K, L and this error keeps popping up after I restart.

If you are in a rush to finish your work, you can downgrade the project and open in Premiere 2019 that has no problems.
You can check on youtube. I used this vídeo and worked.
The name of the video on youtube is:
Open a New Premiere Pro Project on an Older Version[Mac]! Downgrade a Premiere Pro Project!
YES!!! WORKING FINE!!!
Just use PREMIERE 2019, that must be still in your computer.

Same here, started happening after I updated my iMac to Catalina, then updated Premiere Pro to 2020. Not sure which one is causing the bug, but it is making my workflow nearly impossible. Please remedy immediately or post a solution.
The footage is a mix of client footage (type unknown) and H.264 footage. Works fine until I try to play at faster speeds using the L/J keys...looks like this is the same issue with everyone.

Using .MOV files with H.264 codec. No extra speed applied to the video clips. Seems to move along fine until I try to PLAY it at faster speeds using the L key.

Can you please give us a little bit more info on this issue?
- Type of the media used (H.264 or HEVC or some other format)
- Did you have speed applied ( > 2x) to the clip?

Yes, same problem. We have 6 people working together on a Team Project so can't roll back to a previous version. Desperate for a fix to this ASAP. Must be a bad software/hardware configuration problem because not all of our Team Members are experiencing it.

I ran into this bug as well. I just finished a clean install of Mojave on a 2012 Mac Pro (5,1) with a new install of CC 2020. First time using Premiere on this computer, playback on the timeline and the error appeared.
