Add an option to make some rectangles inside premiere pro without having to import an image from the host computer.
Thanks, Annika. Just one thing to clarify... The Rectangle tool is actually nested under the Pen Tool by default. But once you change it is is sticky.

you can easily add shapes in Premiere Pro through the Tools panel. Hold down the rectangle button to see your option to choose between rectangle, ellipse and pen tool. With one of these tools enabled you can then draw a shape in the Program Monitor. This will create a track item in the timeline which you can continue editing from within the Essential Graphics panel.
