.Mogrt performance is super slow in 2020
Specific issues:
Sluggish scrubbing, choppy playback, longer load time.
Our dev team was super excited to hear about the new upgrades, but have found performance is dramatically slowed down in the latest version.
Curious if there will be a patch to fix it, or if there are new development standards to make tools align with the new version? (New code optimization techniques etc.)
Also attached a clip comparing the speed of 2019 to 2020.

I mean in fairness it IS a vital piece of information to know what system and version you're working on in order to help understand what the issue might be.
Another really clutch piece of intel for us is to have the .mogrt in house so that we can try and reproduce the issue and open it and compare performance in After Effects (since AE is what is rendering mogrts under the hood).
There are a whole slew of reasons that a .mogrt can perform slowly, including a lot of expressions, a ton of render-heavy effects, etc... and sometimes we can help provide suggestions on how to set them up to run more optimally.
If you could please send me the mogrts that are giving you trouble, I can run them against older versions too.
I'd love to help y'all get back on track, so please send me your mogrts, system specs, and app versions.
Thanks,

Still another one to add to the endless list of bugs in which we just get the generic response 'what is your system'

Yes this has been a huge problem as of late even now. the 14.5 has the same issue's as when 14 was first launched.

Can agree, even on the latest version I still face very slow playback with MOGRTs on my Premiere timeline. I even did some tests with 2019 and with exact same projects, 2019 plays back a lot better than 2020.

I've had some issues with MOGRTs stability as well.
