Evenly Distribute Clips within Timeline
If I need to spread out a large number of clips in the timeline, I would like the software to evenly distribute automatically. Like in Photoshop or Illustrator, Premiere might include the option to evenly distribute multiple clips within the timeline. It's a very manual process as it stands.

Yes, I would really like to see this feature in Premiere. I would happily take a feature like this (actually useful for real work) any day over Sensei/AI nonsense!
Joke aside, I often need to sequence clips (sometimes in the 50's to 100's in count) to share with groups within my organization. I like to add about 1 to 2 seconds of space between clips, but when I get to volume such as stated above, manually selecting and moving clips can be laborious and time sensitive.
Premiere is very close. See CLIP > AUTOMATE TO SEQUENCE. But, it is missing some crucial features. IMHO, these should be:
1. Select a target Video Track
2. Add x Time (Seconds are Frames) between ClipsBoom. Awesome feature. Power users rejoice.

I,.... Understand your question. Dan never said side by side,... he said multiple clips from point A to point Z how to evenly distribute clips from A to Z (With space between them.

This would be good, especially useful for those of us who don't want clips abutting each other but equidistant on the timeline, as per the OP. A script within the app would be best. maybe one for the next update? Though I'd prioritise the ability to just drag layers up and down myself ;)

Okay, so equal amount of blank timeline between the end of n and beginning of n+1 ? I'm sure a script could do that easily

Thanks for your inquiry. I would like be able to select three or more clips which are in the timeline already. Then I would like to evenly distribute them with equal amounts of blank timeline between them.

I don't get it, you can already select multiple clips and put them onto a timeline and they'll be side by side
