Insert frame hold segment: affecting only one clip
Using the "insert frame hold segment" function does this : the clip at the Playhead position is split and a two-second freeze frame is inserted.
This is very nice, however, when I apply it it also splits the audio track (even when I only select the video track only), and it also spits all other clips on every other video track. NOT nice and NOT wanted.
One workaround is taking the clip to the end of the timeline and splitting it there so nothing else is effected, however when I do this it's very time consuming,
As I result I don't use this function at all! But I would love to use it. Insert frame hold segment would be very handy to use... If it was not affecting every other tracks.

Yes, I agree, this method works, thanks!

@Ann this solution kinda works, you can lock all the tracks (video and audio) and then if you insert a frame hold segment on a locked track it shifts forward only the video track and not the audio track (because it's locked but they are somehow not linked as before lock). So you have to lock/unlock it still manually...
Wow thanks Ann!! It does the trick
Use the sync lock toggle for those tracks you dont want to be affected.
