Reload media
It would be awesome to have a reload media option on Premiere. I work mainly with sequence files that are updated constantly until the final version. I go by replacing the media but that makes me open a window and relocate the file. It's fine, but, doing it by just one click would be the best way to go, like in AE. (Alvaro Letelier)
Like it is already in After Effects.

Would love to upvote this idea multiple times! What's really annoying is that Premiere doesn't even properly update footage if you delete it, then re-import it. For example, a few minutes ago I did this:
1. Realise that some footage in one of my bins is 1280x720
2. Download a 1920x1080 version of that same footage, with the same filename, and overwrite the previous file
3. Delete that footage from Premiere (Premiere was still saying it's 1280x720)
4. Drag the new, 1920x1080 file into Premiere
5. Premiere still thinks it's 1280x720, even though that file no longer exists
6. Save the project, quit Premiere, reload Premiere, reload the project....Premiere now realises it's 1920x1080.If I'd done the same thing in AE, a simple right-click > "Reload Footage" would be all that's required. Can we PLEASE have this in Premiere too?

Definitely a must.

You wouldn't have thought it'd be that hard for Adobe to copy the code from AE to PPro for the 'reload footage' feature.

I agree this would be a huge workflow improvement and time saver
