BUG: Importing folder structures from Finder (macOS) fails to create matching bins
I've been given a drive with a Footage folder, within which are six subfolders for each shoot day. Each folder contains Sony F7 footage from one or more cards, but the folders are not set up identically. Some have the data as expected, some have that nested within an XDROOT folder, and others have multiple cards, within which are the XDROOT folders. But at the bottom level, each folder structure is identical. However, when I either Import or drag and drop the Footage folder into Premiere, all the footage is lumped into one Footage folder, but one folder 'Day 4' remains. This is totally counter-intuitive and completely unhelpful and it makes it completely unclear where the footage has come from. I suggest you do whatever it takes to exactly mirror the structure on the drive. Screenshots to explain:

This isn't a bug, this is actually normal behavior for Premiere, we need to upvote a request to add more importing options for maintaining exact folder structures vs. whatever Premiere is doing now. Just like importing a folder in which subfolders only contain a single item, the subfolder disappears and the item imports on its own. It's super strange, definitely a behavior we need to get fixed.
There are a handful of posts to upvote on here mentioning it, please go ahead and upvote all of them.

Ought to add, this is in PP 13.1.4, on macOS 10.14.6.
