BUG FIX -" Run Script Error Expected: )"
"Run Script Error Expected: )" when starting Premiere Pro CC 2019 an error pops up, "Run Time Script Error - Expected" which has not happened before in 8 years of Premiere usage.
The error Message locks up every Premier welcome window and only clears after pressing "OK" an unholy and unacceptable number of times. The number of times required to press "OK" seems to increase exponentially after every time there is an add/ save/design/redesign a workspace. Removing and restoring preferences and settings SHOULD NOT BE THE FIX TO THIS.

I have the same problem.. and no, there are absolutely no apostrophe's in any of my file names. In fact, the error message pops up before I even have the option of opening a file.

An apostrophe in the sequence title will do this.

does either your project itself or any footage used in it have apostrophes or other special characters in its filename? if so, remove them and try again.

I'm just recently starting my editing escapades with Premiere and thought it was supposed to be there it's been there that long. I always plan to click the mouse 46 times every time I start up...

This run script error is constant every time I try ti open a file. I need to click on it like a dozen times. It's infuriating...

Has anyone solved this issue? I have the same thing when trying to use PluralEyes.

Since updating I've had this runscript error every single time I try and use PluralEyes, it is ridiculous
