Continued playback when moving playhead
Would be nice to even just have the option to toggle the ability to continue playback when the playhead is moved while playback is occurring. Final cut has this feature and at first it feels odd but it save so much time.
One of the things I miss the most from when I wanted to switch from VEGAS to Premiere, this needs to be put in

WHERE'S ADOBE ON THIS FEATURE???? THIS IS A REAL TIME SAVER and on pretty much all other video editors.

FCP7 and FCPX do this, it can cut editing time in half!:).
Basically, I want Premiere Pro to always be in PLAY, unless I hit the STOP/SPACE BAR, so that when I jump to any clip, or to any location in the timeline it just starts playing without having to hit SPACE BAR. This cuts out having to hit the SPACE BAR each time I jump to a different location in the timeline. I want to hit SPACE BAR to start playing and PP2021/2022 just be in PLAY mode, until I hit SPACE BAR again to put it in STOP mode.
This dramatically speed up editing, basically cutting editing time nearly in half! (Sort of.)

Even though I have paid for adobe, I always prefer other NLE's due to the lack of this feature. This is so annoying, when trying to quickly scan your timeline contents.

Trying to switch from Vegas Pro for almost 10 years. No chance for Premiere. Vegas Pro beats it in every aspect of usability...

Yes, please! Studio One does this so seamlessly. When I click back in time it always takes a couple seconds to remember that I have to press Play again (even though I was already playing).

Oh man I miss this so much. Every time I'm jumping through a timeline clicking, playing, clicking, playing I'm like ahh come on!

Make it an option to avoid upsetting long time users. I'm crawling reluctantly from Vegas to PP. When I've wanted to have a quick browse around an hour long video; start play, then click on any other timeline point and it instantly plays from there. it's a skip-around method similar to JKL searching, and having to re-start playback every time is ridiculous.
*WHEN IN PLAYBACK, KEEP PLAYING BACK*
*WHEN IN PAUSE, KEEP PAUSED*
