When I select the SLIP tool and select a clip to slip, I use the numeric keypad, because dragging a mouse to ****** audio 4 frames to improve synch is, well, ********!
But when I employ numeric values, the ENTIRE CLIP retards.
I checked, I was not mistakenly using the Slide alternate.
This appears to be a BUG. It's just wrong.

Still not fixed in V15.2.
Absolutely ridiculous. I can't help but wonder if people simply just don't use ACTUAL EDITING TOOLS when using Premiere and, as such, don't notice these flaws? Premiere makes it really hard to EDIT efficiently. SO many redundant keystrokes to do basic things. And I agree that the Extend Tool is also seriously flawed.

Still not fixed in V14.04!! (I went to V 14.1 but it had so many blatant shortcomings, I backtracked.)
This little Slip item is kid stuff, folks. Things like this make Premiere something of a joke among Avid and FCPX users. This is just like Premiere's Extend tool being unable to take an entire Timeline of selected clip heads or tails and have them all line up on the Playhead. It's little UX details like these left unattended which make for the biggest laughs outside the PPro community.
Maybe this is nailed in 14.2?
