Faster Thumbnails
Thumbnails in view mode load extremely quickly (and I have a powerful machine).
Also, they load as you scroll down/up, while it'd be smarter if they'd all load as you open the folder in which they are.
This slows down the workflow and I'm giving voice to hundreds of editors.
Many thanks

I have a powerful machine built for 4k video editing. I am running the current version of PP and thumbnails take an excruciating amount of time to load EVERY TIME go back and forth between footage bins. WHY? This is slowing my workflow down to a snails pace and for the amount of money we pay for this service, this shouldn't be an issue whatsoever. PLEASE do something about this. My machine is plenty powerful and never had a problem a few versions back.

This is a little confusing... Did you mean to say the opposite of quickly?
I'm trying to help the cause and clean this up a bit by directing folks to vote for another thread on this:
The requests to improve thumbnail generation/loading (an absolute productivity-killer which Adobe should be embarrassed about) are scattered all over the place. The one with the most votes appears to be here, so please vote and comment if you haven't:
Maybe this will make them hears us better. Maybe. I personally don't care how they fix it - either through a cache, loading in the background or by just making them 10x faster to load. I have a fast modern machine and fasts storage and it's still awful. Pulling stuff off older/slower archive drives is just painful. Seems to be worse w/ h264 gop media and faster w/ prores. 422 10 bit long-gop footage from a GH5 has been about the slowest.
