Please add Adobe Encore back into the Premiere Pro Package
Many people still use Adobe Encore to author DVD's. Please add this feature back in as editors depend on it. Encore CS6 was available with through the Creative Cloud app but is now gone. There are no good alternatives to Encore.

Getting rid of encore has had a significant negative impact on my life. It was something I could rely on. Unlike pinnacle that just crashed. My client wants disks and I can't find a reliable method to burn them. Just make it available again. Let us use it at our own risk. We would still have it on our computers if windows 10 didn't keep forcing us to update, then reload windows and then reload are apps again.

In parts of the world other than the USA, DVDs are still required for professional jobs on a regular basis. Encore is still needed.
Let's just keep this going until it gets thousands of votes and is un-ignorable. :) Though probably the CS6 codebase is so ancient that to make a current Encore they'll have to code it from scratch - an idea that even I understand is DOA.
I do distribution of indie films and BluRays (and sometimes DVDs) are still important and prevalent. I use tsMuxerGUI which won't do menus, but will "eat" BluRay assets from Media Encoder, is incredibly fast, and tbh less buggy than Encore. :)
From my extensive research, if you need full BD & DVD authoring functionality, I recommend TMPGEnc Authoring Works on a Win virtual machine, or a separate PC if your work volume justifies it. Interface is kludgy but it's the most full featured, and tech support exists.

More than 50% of our annual work (training media) is destined for DVD distribution. It would certainly be a benefit to keep the entire output path within the Adobe family of products.

I would not count on this one, gang. Sorry....

I m very disappointed that adobe discontinued Encore It was and awesome program that offered a lot. Now Is so complicated to to find a program that replace it on the Mac Platform. I would like to see adobe incorporate the DVD and Blu-Ray functions on Encoder or Plug-In for Premier Pro.
We Play monthly Subscriptions and we Still need Encore and we still would need it for a long time

Yup, I think a lot of people feel very similarly. Premiere Pro, and Adobe support as a whole, tends to resemble a dumpster fire way too often, and the idea of just cutting ties with Creative Cloud and Adobe is super-tempting, but then there's After Effects, Illustrator, PS, Lightroom Classic, etc, and it becomes a bit more complicated.
Rock, meet hard place.

The removal of Encore has been a huge setback. The menu creation functionality was especially good and I have not found an alternative that comes close. I'm seriously tempted to drop my P Pro subscription and just use Resolve . . . .
If you look across the many ideas on Premiere Pro Forum it is clear Adobe are only focusing now on ideas that are targetted towards a higher end Professional Market segment. Those are the ideas that get a response.
Adobe clearly do not see themselves addressing a market segment of users who occasionally publish work on Blu Ray discs as well as ' web on line' anymore.
Its only my take on this - but no comments from Adobe Product Management have ever been made back on this topic - giving a justification on their actions.
The issue here is - we are all fee paying customers and some of us are being ignored. Correct?
Can we have see some comments from Adobe please ?, and please don't tell us to spend more money buying Third Party Solutions OK ?.

Please release Encore CS6 or an updated version. It is important and needed.
I find it hard to believe that Adobe no longer offers a program for authoring DVDs? It's still a pretty common multimedia delivery platform and I hope Adobe realizes that they have a huge vacancy in their multimedia software offerings. PLEASE BRING ENCORE BACK.

I was disappointed when Encore ended at CS6. The dynamic link feature was so useful when you were asked for a last minute change after building a complex menu system. Today we would need support for Blu-Ray to be included for obvious reasons, along with other UHD formats. This product was so good and head and shoulders above the rest I was somewhat surprised to see it die. Adobe, licensing issues aside, can you not fight for this excellent product?
Removing Encore is a disaster. There is nothing equal to it that I can buy. Please bring it back.
I think Anonymous below might be an Adobe statement (maybe) ? - because it is probably correct that Encore will never see the light of day again.
It is a bit short sighted of Adobe to not think about users producing videos who need a smooth integrated workflow with Creative Suite for Disc Production.
I currently use Creative Suite 'My Work' web site, but recently people I have sent download links to have had loads of trouble accessing the Adobe Web Site. What do they say ' Can you send me a disc instead ??'...... the download speed is terrible.
I posted a suggestion that Adobe could work with a Software Application partner just for the Disc Creation suite and have tight integration with Adobe CC.
I have tried other standalone Third Party packages myself and quite frankly they are filled with useless features and 50% of the time you end up with beer coasters.
Relying on web download and subscription models will ultimately fail as more and more competitors enter that market and users refuse to pay escalating fees.
It will all be perfect one day when we ALL get Optical Fibre plugged into our homes and do not have to rely on old telephone cabling (wet string) to transport high bit rate streams to carry 4K High Quality Video (eg the UK infrastructure)
In the meantime everyone, continue to knock your head against a brick wall.

Unfortunately, Adobe Encore is gone forever. Adobe will never bring it back. Look for alternate authoring programs.

Being in the event video production Biz everyone who's got CC Account should cancel it and request them to bring back a standalone Encore Ver. Upgrade for CC to use w PP CC 2019. Many Event creators who still give client final projects request it on DVD or Blu Ray Formats still for work.
We are so loss with not being able to Burn our projects w an Program w all loved that was great in doing what it did for so many for so many years!

I’ve kept an old OS X mountain lion partition in order to keep using Encore / still have workflows that require DVD and Bluray....
I don't like what Adobe have done to customers who have been with them over 20 years buying all versions of Premiere, as authoring Discs with the CS6 Encore has disappeared
This is like having the rug pulled from under them.
Please offer an Updated version of Encore working with latest Premiere versins and as someone has suggested support 4K UHD discs,
I use streaming but this has it's challenges. Why do Adobe consider DVD/BLU Ray dead?
Yes people buy less DVDs/BluRays from the likes of Amazon etc - BUT - for privately created projects (eg Weddings/Events etc ) people still want a Disc !
