I am happy to say, ProresXQ export has returned to After Effects! (At least in Mac).

Prores 4444 XQ export option still not available on macOS as of October 7th 2020.
On Mojave 10.14.6
(Would not be able to update macOS to 10.15 due to the 64 bit thing of Catalina) -

Sounds like Premiere can export ProRes4444 XQ now as of the July 2020 update....

ARRI records natively in Prores XQ. You shouldn't call your software Premiere Pro (professional) if it force you to compromise quality. Prores 444 XQ export now!

This is now a normal industry requirement for deliverables, please get this done asap. We're having to utilize other solutions for what should be a basic process.

I'm tempted to wait a month to post after ilke's post, but 4444XQ for Mac AME would be a great solve, even (especially?) motion graphics After Effects users need it.

IT's 2020 and may I learn why is this still an issue?
Adobe are you lazy or what, huh?! It's ridiculous this codec option is only available for Windows but not for Mac users! We're paying so much for your products for professional FILMMAKING purposes, not only Youtubers are using PREMIERE PRO(!)

Having to install Windows just to deliver After Effects renders for broadcast? Not ideal. More clients are demanding XQ for HDR workflows.

Please add ProRes 4444 XQ.
The production-company and my client wants a same as source-export. And I can´t offer it to them with Premiere Pro on Mac.
Thanks. -

Hey Adobe... Please add ProRes 4444 XQ to Adobe Premiere CC. This has become a standard codec used in the professional world... especially for color grading and VFX.

ProRes 4444 is almost as good as XQ though. We are working on a new version of our ProRes encoder which won't have the restriction you quoted :)

AfterCodecs site says:
Known Limitations:
"Don’t use the ProRes for broadcast. Always test your hardware and software. It’s not an official version of ProRes"That's it then.
Prores XQ is for archival and HDR images. My client want's it, so I need to skip Adobe here.Shame :(

Is there a reason you absolutely need XQ and not regular 4444 ?
You can use AfterCodecs compatible with both Windows and OSX and on Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and After Effects : https://www.autokroma.com/AfterCodecs/
