Closed captions kerning
Make closed captions accessible.
The kerning on the closed captions are not accessible when the whole point of closed captions are to make the video accessible to all viewers. It's too difficult to read especially for people with Dyslexia. New UK accessibility laws are changing and we need the functionality to meet these new regulations. Please, please consider making the kerning better so it doesn't look like individual characters from an accessible point of view. If you aren't going to improve the CC then please consider adjusting your guides to be less misleading, they state you can change the fonts and colours etc when you can only do that on open captions. You even have an image with the description "displaying closed captions" using a screen shot of open captions. Very misleading.

We have completely redesigned the captioning workflow in Premiere Pro version 15.0. You will see many dramatic workflow improvements. Please update to the latest version.

I need kerning indeed. For example with helvetica neue. Now they are crowded the words.
EDIT: I later found out that the setting of the srt was smaller than 1920x1080 so the letters where crowded. I changed the size and now everything is ok.

Yes please. It's silly that the Legacy Title tool is much more robust on this front than anything else.

Stl files are an industry standard caption file, but Premiere destroys the formatting of stls by adding excessive kerning - making the letters too far apart - and doesn't allow for this to be fixed within Premiere. Preferably fix the bug that distorts stls, or at least allow us to fix the problem ourselves.
