BUG - Quadro cards and Adobe, extremely slow renders and crashing system
On the most updated Premiere and even Media Encoder, Renders hang, simple renders. The system I am on has a Quadro P4000 GPU, I go home and same settings, everything, a 2080 RTX....Render takes 10 minutes. On Quadro the render hangs at 0-1% and estimated time goes up and up. Seen 12 hours before at 1% and I cancel.
Also I can close Prmiere and the entire system will crash/reboot. I have tried rolling back but unable to roll back both AFX dynamic links and premiere files. No real work arounds.
It can cache, preview, but the render...nope. Tried software Acceleration and Hardware. Both unusable. Both set to CUDA for playback. The irony, my home system is a Xeon with no hardware acceleration and flies, the Quadro has a Quad Core i7 @ 4Ghz and nothing.
Seeing that other mobile Quadros are having this issue. Again, tried rollback on Adobe and Nvidia Drivers.

Rendering previews or exporting footage? If you are rendering previews, try a different preview codec. If you are exporting footage, also try a different codec; something like ProRes. Try also a test without the AE comps in the sequence.
