Add side-chain management as in audition
It would be very interesting to use the side chain to control for example a compressor on a voiceover track from a mixing track (atmosphere, music, sound effects, ...)

The Beatrig Sidekick plugin seems to cause digital noise, certainly when used with submixes.
Far better for Adobe to replicate the side-chaining that is available in Audition.

Side-chaining would be really useful and it's not the same as ducking - ducking is much simpler, side-chaining a compressor is more powerful

I agree. AFAIK, the only plugin that Adobe allows this capability is Beatrig Sidekick Extended 6. So, the functionality does exist. But any DAW can easily perform this same task. Without the Beatrig Plugin, there are two, poor options.
Rendering to Audition or any other DAW is too time-consuming for such a simple task. Utilizing Essentials Sound hard-baked keyframing is not the on-the-fly audio ducking that editors need in a changing, creative sequence.
