Insta360 stitcher software creating massive problem with Premiere
Premiere has been hanging up, beach balling every 3 seconds, then recovering then crashing again. This sympton was on 2 of my MBPs and 2 of my imac pros. I unistalled the insta360 stitch software and the problems on all 4 macs disappeared. MBP's running 2018 verison and pros are running latest version (13.1) - So everytime I need to stitch VR video, I install the stitching software and then uninstall it when it is finished.

Hi, I am trying to import my insta360 pro 2 files into Premiere Pro on my iMac.
If I copy the files to a file on my hard drive and try, I get the message 'Import completed ! Non-2D videos has been skipped.' but no files import.
If I do the same thing direct from my camera, using the camera as a server, sometimes it works and the files come in perfectly, all stitched, other times (with the same files) it does not work.
Can you help me - I'm trying to establish a practical workflow and using the camera as a server does not seem practical. What is the difference in taking the files from my hard drive and taking them from the camera?
Thanks, Adam

I had to re-format a drive.
Premiere should do qc testing on plugins as this one has a terrible memory leak that ruins the Pr install.
