PLEASE UPVOTE: This would SAVE HOURS - Auto analyze audio & add keyframes that reduce loud spikes
The new audio ducking feature is good, however it would save MANY HOURS if Premiere could use the same approach, but with the outcome of analyzing audio by selecting the audio, going to adjust gain for example, then 'auto analyze and lower loud audio spikes'.
Currently, the only ways of doing this are to use a compressor, which tends to chop the audio, to manually add keyframes and then lower each loud spike in the waveform, or to use a limitor and chop the audio off, but again, these either effect the quality of the audio, or take a VERY long time to do.
The current professional way to get the best result is by manually making on the waveform keyframes throughout the audio to reduce the loud spikes and raise the lower volume, to get even audio.
Please see my attached screenshot. It would be incredible if I could create all of those keyframes on my audio automatically by choosing the clips to do it to. If there were options for target level, and how much to lower and raise audio throughout the audio file, it would provide a great feature in premiere that would save editors literally hundreds of hours.
