Essential Graphics doesn't work in Premiere Pro 2019 CC
In both Premiere Pro 2018 CC and in Premiere Pro 2019 CC “Essential Graphics” doesnt work. When I drag and drop a Template in the Timeline pannel the “fx” is colored gray. The Program pannel shows no text, even when I scrub the Timeruler from beginning till the end of the Graphic sequence. When I hit the “Edit”button, the Essential Graphics pannel shows an empty black text rectangle, Transform and Responsive Design - Time.
I’ve uninstalled Premiere Pro two times, downloaded the latest updates, but it doesn’t fix the “Essential Graphics” problem. My laptop runs on Windows 10. Is this a known issue or a bug? What are the steps to solve this problem?
Thanks and greetings, Fabienne
For those of you on Windows, can you open your Project Settings and change the Motion Graphics Templates Media scratch disk folder to be on your desktop or some easily accessible location on disk.
Windows OS has a 260 character limit on file paths and if your MGTM scratch disk is set to a folder that is nested too far, this file path limit will prevent Premiere from being able to "unpack" the content of the Mogrt to render it.
Please feel free to share any of the Mogrts that are causing you headaches with me, along with the OS and version of Premiere Pro that y'all are running.
Thanks in advance,

I saw that this was a similar problem to what I have. I bought a graphic from the Adobe Stock. It worked at first and then for some reason it wont load onto any timeline in premiere pro on an old project or new one. It's frustrating because I paid $20 for it and it wont show up. I try dragging it to the timeline like I do with every other graphic but the mouse turns into an "x" in a circle and wont let me use it anymore. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

And I am using windows 10. Stopped working on premiere pro 2019CC. I started working on a new project after upgrading to 2020 version. Still, I have the same issue. Any help?

I have exactly the same issue. And I can't do anything about it. It was working in the beginning. with few projects of mine. And then, in the middle of one project, it stopped working. I managed to finish my video copying Graphics from the beginning of the project and just changing the text.
I do see some small white little window opening in the middle of the screen when I am dropping the graphics on my timeline, but just for a glance of the blink. Can't manage to read it... . I really need help with that
I would also like to know that, which is why I had asked the question. The factory-installed mogrt does not work on my Windows 10 laptop, only shows an empty layer. On my PC computer, which runs on windows 7, morgt works fine.
Greetings Fabienne, thanks for posting
In the screenshot you included (thanks for that, it helps) I can see that the Graphic you are using has no layers. We would need to know how you got it to be like that since that is a factory installed mogrt which we know has layers.
