In and Out Points after Interpreting
I propose an option when interpreting footage in Premiere. Lets say you have a bunch of files shot at 60fps and you bring them into premiere and start working with them. You set in and out points on all your clips trying to trim the fat. Well now I know I want those shots on a 23.976 timeline to playback in slow motion. I could slow down the clips with speed in the timeline right? Well that does not work as well as interpreting the footage does. So I go back to my file and I do modify>interpret footage. This changes the file from 60fps and plays it back at 23.976 making the shot slow motion. BUT uh oh! now all my in and out points that I worked on are all out of their desired locations. I propose being able to keep the in and out points on the specific frames selected even after they are interpreted. The current set up goes as follows. I set an in point 1 second into my shot but when I interpret the in point is still on the 1 second mark. This is not the same frame I would like it on. The frame has now moved down the timeline because of the additional frames being played back at a different frame rate.
