PLUGIN DATA KEPT WITH CC ACCOUNT
Hey all,
I work in an office with multiple editors of varying skill levels, and we often have to jump from one computer to another on our network based on where we are working. We have transferrable ID's, so whenever we login to our Adobe account so much info and presets come up that we love and saves time. Our #1 issue when jumping onto a new computer is the following:
ISSUE
- Having to re-install all our Premiere & AE plugins & find the serial codes for them. This can take hours anytime we have to migrate from one computer to another.
I would love to see a solution like this:
- Adobe CC accounts able to carry over your plugins & licenses. Ideally this would be a selectable option (many people will not need this, but for those of us that use many 3rd party plugins, will save so much time) This doesn't inhibit any license agreements (most 3rd party plugins have protocols to inhibit exports when the same license is open on multiple computers)
Does anyone else run into similar issues/ would you like to see a solution like this? Are there any solutions out there currently?

Adobe offers a solution for this, today.

If plug-in/extension vendors sell through the Adobe Exchange store, the Creative Cloud Desktop application will make sure each users's licensed plug-ins/extensions are installed when they log onto that machine. Stipulated; most plug-in vendors don't sell through Exchange.
Licensing aside, plug-ins and extensions can rely on Creative Cloud Desktop to sync their settings into the CC user's profile folder, on any machine they use.
