snap clip to playhead
After Effects allows you to snap a selected clip to the play head using the [ (left square bracket) key. Similarly, you can snap the end of a selected clip to the play head using the ] (right square bracket key). Would it be possible to implement this functionality in Premiere Pro?
Currently there are options or trimming, but they affect the entire track, i.e., all clips downstream in the timelines. I'd like the ability to simply select a single clip and snap it to the play head position without having to click and drag the clip.
Thanks!

Cut paste kind of works for this but it relies on track targeting and requires two commands, it also doesn't do pin end. I wish Premiere was more individual clip based for targeting what I want to do than track based. Coming from After Effects it seems like there is way to much time wasting manually clicking (Source Targeting, Locking, Track Targeting, and Sync Locking) to tell clips how to behave with the keyboard shortcuts. I wish a selected clip had priority over a targeted track.
