premiere pro 2019 BUG : the playhead is visually, slightly to the left of it's actual position.
not 100% if this is a bug or a new 'feature' in for 2019, but I've searched all the project menus and all the preferences and cant find any way to change it back to normal so I'm gonna say it's a bug, here's a description;
the playhead is a tiny big to the left of where it's actually effecting and it remains the same distance regardless of how zoomed you're viewing it (as seen in the images included, I did not move the playhead between the two pictures, just zoomed out.) this confuses action on the timeline from cutting to key-frames, because you need it to double check, for example, where clips actually start and end in the program/reference monitor, or risk ruining an animation, or the timing for an effect, ect.
please fix this, and if it isn't a bug and you decided to include it as some bizarre, illogical feature, then don't enable it by default, because you'll only confuse new users, and scare away existing ones from updating.
this feels like I writing a bloody letter at this point so,
