How can we improve Premiere Pro?

New Install, New Project, Yet Video Doesn't Play in Source Monitor or Sequence Monitor. FIX YOUR SOFTWARE.

I just reinstalled the software. Created a new project. Imported footage form Sony a7Riii and none of the videos even play. Files import into project but nothing shows up in the source monitor or sequence monitor.
