Add the ability to copy the timing and formatting of one caption sequence into another caption sequence
For people trying to create two simultaneous layers of captions (i.e. one in the original language, and another in English translation):
it would be useful to be able to copy and paste all the timing and font information from one caption sequence to another caption sequence.
The only way I've found to do this is by copying and pasting the entire sequence, but then the two sequences become linked, such that changing the text in one also changes the text in the other.
Basically, what I'm trying (and unable) to do is copy and paste the caption sequence, and then just change the text in one of them while keeping the timing all the same.

Sam, have you tried RENAMING the caption clip in the Project Manager? I don't frankly have time to test but believe that if you duplicate the existing clip, and then rename i.e. <<sequence_name>>_eng dup to <<sequence_name>>_ger the link would be broken, the timings would be the same and you'd be able to simply drop the new language in place of the original...very similar to what I need to do when duplicating Essential Graphic items when re-using and needing to change dates or other information.
