pending
Hi, I came up with 2 solutions about the "media pending" problem you get with .MP4 video files. In my case, these 2 methods worked fine for me but I truely believe the first one is the most important and effective.
So, to solve that you have to reorganize your "Assembly" window. What I mean by that is to reorder your media files by putting them in several bins. Instead of having 3 bins of 60 files in it, make 10 or 12 bins with 10 to 20 files maximum in them. Then, things will be faster to load and the media pending issue seems to be vanished..
It's seems like Premiere Pro can't handle quite well this type of file (mp4), causing this issue and many lags or bugs.Second method :
- Select sequence and go to "Sequence Settings".
- Change "Editing Mode" to: Personnalized. (by default, it was set to AVCHD 1080p when working with the mp4 video files)
- Change "Preview File Format" to : QuickTime.
To be clear, I don't really know if this one works. The first method will surely get rid of the media pending. But you can try this beside.
I hope this is clear enough, my english may not be perfect. Tell me what you guys think about this !
