Toggle OFF proxies ability during Project/Sequence Collection
We produce a lot of TV spots that require that as a final step, we make a customization template. The V1 track is a NO GFX version of the program, and all GFX, including customizable URLs and TFNs, so the final sequence is drill down to just the basics, usually 4-5 tracks with no reference to any original RAW video clips.
Still almost everytime we collect, the PROXIES we've created (through proxy generation tools right in Premiere) also get collected - which adds so much time to the process when collecting a very basic sequence.
Wondering if you could add an 'IGNORE or DON'T COLLECT PROXIES' option in the Collection prompts.

I'd love to be able to do the opposite. For an project with 8TB of footage, all unscripted, many hours long, I want to share only the pproj files and proxies to a producer to work out the story, so she doesn't need the raw video files as quality not important for that process. So ability to collect files with checkbox to "not include proxies" sounds like it's needed, but also ability to "not include original raw, only proxy footage"

I would LOVE the ability to turn off proxies when the collect and copy function is used. It's created 100's of extra files when I only need about 20 original source media files. This is crazy we can't exclude those!

Unfortunately, Proxy is not currently supported with the Project Manager, which can result in issues like you describe. Hopefully we can add Proxy support (along with an option to not include Proxies) in a future release.
Until then, a possible workaround is to make your Proxies Offline prior to Project Manager > Collect Files and Copy to New Location. It can be as simple as moving the Proxies to a new location in order to make them Offline.
