Make sure you don't have any other apps open using NVENC or anything, like screen recorders. That was the problem I was having for months.

This program is infuriating me. Crashes non stop. Once my subscription is up at the end of the year I am done with adobe. total BS

My company is moving to FCPX after having dealt with this insanity for the past month or so. Brand new iMac Pro, MBP, constant crashing of entire system after using PP for a few minutes.

This is been infuriating.

Basic editing of a HD project using 4K footage is a nightmare. Done a ton of similar projects but seems to be a new bug. Have to restart the whole computer each time. It fixes it for about 15 min. Such a mess. Is there a workaround? I would reload an easier version if it could open my current project.

Completely Agree. After only 8 minutes (timed) of simple cut and delete editing, i get the rainbow spinny of death and when i force quit, it tells me "Premiere Pro encountered a critical error and has to restart." Absolutely not acceptable. Along with this comes constant lag (on a brand new Macbook pro) and delayed response times. Please fix this. I've lost countless hours to crashes and stupidly- slow response times.

Seriously I have a project due tomorrow night, now I can see why people prefer other editing softwares than premiere.

not only did it completely freeze and crash upon 5 minutes of use, it has now decided to not allow me to play any of my work in the editing process! can't edit a video if I can't see anything I've done! please fix the app!

Throw me in the mix, constant crashes on the 2019 version. I have even tried a simple audio track with still images and have crashed several times. Never had any run issues on the previous versions

The same issue has been happening to me for the past week and it is completely ruining my work schedule! Projects are late and I will definitely not be paying for a program subscription that doesn't even work.

This is extremely frustrating. I thought maybe I just needed a new update. Nope. Premiere keeps crashing every 10 to 15 mins. Just not acceptable. Please work out your bugs before releasing the software - some of us have deadlines to meet.

My premier keeps crashing every 10-20minutes. I cant imagine how it would be to render this. This has nothing to do with my spec. Been editing with the same camera for almost two years. ****** adobe why is it everytime theres an update it’ll make the software goes crazy. It is ridiculous that after updating to 2019, with an iMac, I am forced to suffer through a now completely buggy and issue ridden workflow. Lag, skipping, crashing... it went from my favorite software to cut music videos to the bane of my existence.

IF you're going to update, perhaps you don't BREAK the rest of the workflow.
