CC2019 SERIOUS CRASHES with multicam sequences.
Just cut and moved on the time line of a Multicam sequence. This is the fourth crash in 15 minutes. PP CC 2019 is acting extremely unstable with Multicam projects. Never had this with 2018. In the midst of a valuable project and cannot finish due to crashes.Wish I could open the project with 2018 as there is far too much work to recreate in the time i have..
Project has 3 multicam sequences so far (only cutting one at a time though). It has Audition replaced audio (Which has been render/replaced), two video files (DNxHD) and a mono audio file added to the two stereo video files. Anything from pushing play, to adding a cut, moving the curser with a mouse.... anything can cause a crash.

Ditto, simple multicam project that was going swimmingly, then started crashing when I push Stop. Its only 1080 24p footage on an SSD.

A month ago, I did multi cam with two Samsung footages. Now I'm working on a project with 1 iphone and 1 samsung. If I breathe, it crashes.

UPDATE: I contacted Adobe support and they went through and deleted all the Premiere preference files. I thought I had deleted them but I did not get all of them, not enough to fix the issue. DELETING ALL PREMIERE PREFERENCES should fix this issue.
Also, I can't imagine how, but the cause of the problem seems to have been somehow traced back to switching keyboards. The battery died on my wireless keyboard and I couldn't find the cable to charge it, so I grabbed one of my other wired keyboards. Somehow this must have caused a glitch and ultimately caused a preference file to become corrupt or something. Not 100% certain if this was the cause, but it might have been.
If you are having this problem and have already tried deleting the preferences, then either do a Google search on how to delete all the Premiere preferences, or, contact customer support to help.
Hope this helps!

By the way, for me, I made absolutely no change whatsoever when this issue started to happen. This sounds unbelievable, but I literally came in the next day and the issue was there. I have since updated Premiere (I checked to see if there were any updates and there was), but this issue began before that update. I was hoping the update would have fixed it.

Just resurrecting this post. I've spent the whole morning searching the internet for a solution. Seems like lots of people are having this issue. Some have offered solutions or work-arounds but for me at least the "fixes" are not fixing the problem. Just as Dwight said, when switching to multicam view I can play and switch cameras no problem, but as soon as I stop playing it freezes.
Anyone have an updated answer to this issue?
Thank you!

Experiencing exactly the same. Never had this problem in 2018. Idiotically I started this project in PP 2019 and recreating it in the previous version would really compromise my schedule. This is extremely lame.

This seems to be audio related. I erase all audio in the underlying sequence and no crash. I add audio back.... simply hit play and crash. There have been a couple render/replace audio parts. One from Audition and a couple from Premiere's audio (Dialog - Noise 0.1 - then rendered and replaced so as to not use the effect in real time). Insane.
