Replace Footage - Folder Location should learn
I'm replacing a bunch of footage in my project, swapping out stock video previews for the newly-bought non-watermarked versions. Problem was, every time I click replace footage, the folder location that automatically opens is a random one not connected to this project at all! It was quite time consuming navigating back to the folder where I have all the new footage every time, I thought it was a no-brainer that if I replace one clip in the project, the next time I try to replace footage it would start right at that location.
Eventually I realized the folder location that opens is from the last place I Imported in Premiere, from a totally different project. So I was able to import one file from my desired location and from then on replace footage brought that up first. Still, if I hadn't figured that out this was going to turn a relatively quick task into a nightmare slog.
Please add the feature where if you replace footage in a project, the next time you do, that folder location will open first. Thank you!

This is still an issue for us on 22.5.0, has anyone found a work around or to change the folder?

And this is still an issue. I frequently need to replace library footage where originally a preview was used and this is something that should please be resolved... The original post was in 2018!
