Fix the 'Close Gap' command!
I was so thrilled when I found out that a 'close gap' keyboard shortcut was finally added to Premiere Pro!
Unfortunately, it was released as a half-baked feature.
The 'Close Gap' feature should ALWAYS work when used, even if there are unselected clips/gaps above and/or below the selection you want to remove gaps from. Gaps should be removed from the selection, always, without any consideration for any media outside the selection. Period.
The way it is now, Close Gap doesn't even work if there's a locked track with media above or under the selection. This is ridiculous!
Getting Close Gap to work properly isn't exactly rocket science. It's simple common sense and basic respect for how editors work!
PLEASE fix this Adobe!
