Support Blackmagic RAW
Please add support for Blackmagic RAW .BRAW files as soon as possible! This would be a tremendous help to our workflow! .BRAW was released today: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/blackmagicursaminipro/blackmagicraw

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:
- The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
- It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
- If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.

I did white balance adjustments and pushed that to the sidecar. It looks like in the beta the sidecar file isn't generated till you add data to it. maybe the sidecar helps it be readable through premiere via XML? I'll have to try again when I get home to see exactly what I did, but maybe try that as well. Not a great workflow if you have hundreds or thousands of clips, many of which you won't end up using if you have to go tweak a sidecar for each one before you can import into premiere but worth it for smaller projects.

@Anonymous - I tried exporting an XML from Resolve and opening it in Premiere. The files imported as offline on my mac pro. I tried to reconnect them, but Premiere said the .BRAW file format is unsupported - so no luck.

Guys, maybe this is just me but yesterday I got BRAW working in premiere. Try this, tell me if it works. I dropped all my BRAW into resolve in a new timeline. I exported an XML (i didn't export any footage or change formats). I imported that XML into premiere and it auto-imported all the BRAW footage and it played back perfectly! What could be causing this?

If adobe don’t support b-raw in the next few weeks I will be cancelling my subscription and moving to Davinci Resolve.

I am in the process of deciding whether to move all of my editing to Resolve and cancel my Adobe subscription, or to stay with premiere. Whether or not Adobe quickly implements BRAW support will most likely be my deciding factor.

Yeah I am seeing the possibilities of removing the round trip from Resolve to Premiere!! and Being able to shoot in a Raw format that is GPU accelerated and setting can be held in a Sidecar file. This could be a big as Lightroom was for the nondestructive workflow in the photography world but for VIDEO! PLease Please Please!
