Support Blackmagic RAW
Please add support for Blackmagic RAW .BRAW files as soon as possible! This would be a tremendous help to our workflow! .BRAW was released today: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/blackmagicursaminipro/blackmagicraw

Thanks for all the feedback. It’s pretty clear that we’ve got to look into the workflow using this format more closely, there are enough reports about gaps at this point to reopen this item. I’ll post more info about next steps shortly. In the meantime, a couple of questions are easy to answer:
- The plugin is designed for Premiere Pro. It currently doesn’t provide support for After Effects.
- It does work with AME, so if you want to use it for batch processing, that’s very doable
- If you’ve started a project with Autokroma, there’s no easy way to transfer it to be running with the new plugin.

I am having huge exporting and render issues. Never experienced something like this with other material. Blackmagic Codec Version 1.6 running, no Autokroma installed.

I've recently purchased the BMPCC 6k and shot a whole design/architecture project on it in Asia. Before leaving for this project I tried to import my test files into PPro19 with no luck. I was dismayed at the thought of doing my full edit in Resolve, as I'll be doing split screens and all sorts. I was also not excited about transcoding all the footage. It was great to learn about the BRAW plugin for Premiere. I was able to import about 2/3rds of my footage that way, but for some reason a bunch of folders of files don't import at all and generate errors. This was after the plugin registered errors in PPro while importing (the search icon in my bin kept flashing during this glitch). I have since shut down and re-started my Macbook Pro (top of the line 2018) and PPRo20, which has the plugin correctly installed and still nothing. Stuck here. Adobe, please please supply a solution for BRAW that we can trust to work seamlessly. This camera is out there eating the more expensive ones for breakfast and we who have adopted this often superior capture method are dying to forge ahead!
Thanks

How odd Antoine, I am running the Blackmagic RAW 1.5.1 plugin on macOS Catalina

Antoine (Autokroma.com) commented
Dave, just tested 1.5.1 in After Effects and the .braw is all black :/

So kinda good news, Blackmagic has released an update to Blackmagic RAW - 1.5.1 which provides general performance and stability improvements.
A nice surprise is that After Effects can now import .braw files too but you can NOT access RAW source settings to tweak anything and it doesn't seem to pick up and load an existing .sidecar file, this is also the case with dynamic linking from Premiere Pro to AE.
I still want Adobe to natively support BRAW without using a plugin. Adobe says on their website "Any camera. Any format. Any platform.", this needs to be lived up to with native BRAW support in Adobe Video apps

Well after having Adobe logged in to my computer for over an hour they have told me it is crashing because of the plugin and I need to contact Blackmagic. HOW IS THIS ISSUE RESOLVED!

Yes, I am having loads of crashes. Just trying to get through this current project before I return to more familiar work flow- this just isn't reliable yet.
I'm having a crash every 15 mins, running a high spec imac (2019) 64GB ram, latest updates. Can't see a pattern of cause. I'm also getting some strange behaviour like a braw clip picking up audio from a completely different file and also master files affected by colour changes according to where I position playhead. I'm fairly new to working with raw files, maybe I'm the bug!
This is not a solution.
