Adding Thumbnails CACHE - stop constant thumbnail regeneration (creating new bin, switching workspaces, ...)
It's frustrating to wait until they're generated every single time we re-open a bin, make a new bin, switch between workspaces, or simply scroll down after a long time.
It makes every time, when you close or open a bin, or make a new bin and put videos in it.
Thank you! :)

The requests to improve thumbnail generation/loading (an absolute productivity-killer which Adobe should be embarrassed about) are scattered all over the place. The one with the most votes appears to be here, so please vote and comment if you haven't:
Maybe this will make them hears us better. Maybe. I personally don't care how they fix it - either through a cache, loading in the background or by just making them 10x faster to load. I have a fast modern machine and fasts storage and it's still awful. Pulling stuff off older/slower archive drives is just painful. Seems to be worse w/ h264 gop media and faster w/ prores. 422 10 bit long-gop footage from a GH5 has been about the slowest.

Opening PP just now it took 10 mins before I could start work. If I swap to another bin, the thumb nails take 5 mins before I can start. Adobe simply cannot fix this and told me to use list view.
I have 32gb memory so this shouldn't be a problem.
