dark on light interface
I would like you to bring back the option to have a dark-on-light interface. The current interface color makes it hard to read text, and all that dark gray looks depressing and somewhat sinister. I want an interface that looks happy and wholesome, like something professionals use during the daytime - not a dark, creepy "interface of the night".
Most of your users are creative professionals with strong ideas about color and design. I'm sure we would all love to be able to turn off the default interface colors and customize our own, to make the interface look just how we want it, since WE have to look at it all day long.
Personally, I find the default colors of Premiere Pro to be very harsh and ugly. I like soft, beautiful colors, and I would set it up with lighter grays and calm, pastel blues.
Many thanks.

I am registered Blind, I used Premiere Pro and after effect A LOT as I am an animator. Then I took a break from working with animation to raise my family for a few years. Now I am back to do some animation, I was ttaken back how miserable new premiere and after effect are. I struggle to read the grey text against darker grey background. I want more clarity, more brighter. So I do feel I have a right to adjust the colours on UI to meet my needs and reduce the strains of my eyes. So you need to make the UI more customised.

Agreed. Not being able to change the color scheme to a white background during the day is annoying. I'm a software engineer and when picking an IDE, I would never choose one without this feature. I imagine if I was in graphics or editing, and this was my IDE, I would choose another one that had this feature.
And I don't want the ability to change "Brightness" I want a "Light/Dark" toggle mode button like most every app and website has, or the ability to change it in the settings.
Adobe - search "premier pro light interface" on Google to see all the customers that want this feature.

Haven't noticed anything much in the way of colour. Just tiny text in shades of black on grey or grey on black - Impossible for regular folks, working in daylight, to read.

I find it difficult to see the edges of windows and panes with the current color schemes. There is hardly any contrast at the edges. I second the option to have a dark on light, or light on dark, or fully customizable interface color scheme.
