Disable insert/overwrite from bin or project panel
This is more of a bug actually, but resolving it with disable feature could be useful for other purposes too.
When working with two monitors I have source panel and program panel in the same group on the other monitor and timeline on the other. I select in and out points from the source and then go to timeline to select the third point by moving playhead. This moves focus on timeline and source panel to background as program is viewed in the same panel group. Now when I use keyboard shortcut to insert, the inserted clip comes from project panel, not from source as expected. I have to undo the insert, move focus back to source and then insert again.
I think I should be able to use source panel for editing without having an awkward panel layout. Disabling inserts from bin/project panel would force the use of source panel wherever the focus was. This could be useful for many editors who prefer playing clips in source panel over scrubbing.
This suggestion is somewhat linked to this other problem: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro/suggestions/34588819-allow-insert-overwrite-even-when-focus-is-in-timel
