overwrite
Two very silly flaws with file overwriting behavior upon export.
a) Premiere does audio renders BEFORE checking whether there is a file already existing with the same name as the output file. Causes people to sometimes go to lunch expecting their hour long render to happen, only to get back to the pesky "are you sure you want to overwrite" dialogue box. MAKE THE CHECK BEFORE ANY RENDERING STARTS!
b) If permissions are lacking to overwrite an existing file, Premiere won't detect this until it has finished the entire render. What a stupid waste of time! People can waste hours rendering on a heavy project, only to be told at the very end that they do not have permissions to overwrite the file. GUESS WHAT? You could at least then give them the option of saving the exported movie to a different file name, instead of causing the entire render to be wasted.
It is almost impossible to believe Premiere has been around as long as it has, with these flaws.
I have already learned Da Vinci Resolve and plan to use it on all projects after this one is finished. Fix these things to avoid losing more customers guys - these sorts of problems are downright disrespectful of your customers.

This is very annoying !!! I've lost count of how many times I thought it would be rendering and it wasn't.
I believe that Adobe would not need to create an artificial intelligence to be able to correct this error.

I am wondering why this has just 5 votes! I get annoyed all the times. Especially I don't get it why audio renders before the export aks an important question like this.
