Essential Graphics bug; field missing after sequence duplication
Steps to duplicate bug:
Save custom graphic from After Effects to local library folder. In my case the graphic had a single, editable text field.
Import the graphic from the Essential Graphics panel in Premiere into a new sequence. Text field should appear in the 'Edit' tab of the EG panel.
Duplicate the sequence. In the new sequence, the text field disappears and the Edit tab is empty.
Close and re-open the sequence. The text field reappears.
Hi James, here's a link to the MOGRT file -- let me know if it works:
I will continue tryin to replicate this again on my end...
Anything besides anonymous will do.
The best thing I could get at this point is a mogrt that repro's the problem. Thanks for your support.
Also, I'm happy to change my name on here to something else -- just not our Adobe login email, correct?
Hi James! Thank you for responding. Let me see if I can attach the graphic; there's a background video that will be a somewhat large upload though.
FYI I'm trying to replicate the bug again today and it's not happening. Very odd. I may need to start a fresh project and try it again to see if it will replicate like before.
I am unable to repro this as is, can you perhaps send me the mogrt you used? You should be able to attach as part of a comment. Thank you.
^^^ Thank you for that submission. I haven't been able to try it yet but this is a pretty decent model for others to see how to write bug reports with a good Title and concise steps. There are some ways to make it even better, like including a user name and a screen grab of the problematic result you're seeing... but the steps alone are a big improvement over a lot of other reports that we get.
