audio timecode effect
Having the timecode effect able to display the audio timecode might be useful. You know, for when you're turning over BITC files for sound post. It's a pretty standard thing in Avid.

@Antoine! You are a life saver!
Ended up having to do some relatively major EDL jiggery pokery, but managed to get this to work. I think if you have soundroll names rather that AX in the EDL then it won't give you a timecode, but maybe there is something else going on?... anyway, much prodding made it work! THANKS!

@ Antoine - excellent work! Thank you. At least we have a workaround now.

Just found a work around.
Works only if your sound edit is not too complex.Export your audio as EDL, export only the tracks you want to burn in your image
Open your EDl in a text edit and replace the "A" by "V", it will convert your audio tracks as Video.
Import your edl back in
Now you've a video track containing partly the metadata of the audio
place that video track on the top of your edit.
Point the timecode effect to that video track
and put the opacity to 0Tadaaam,..;-)
in my screenschot exemple the audio TC was 2 frames off compared to the video -

Yes we would like that too at VRT

At this point I have no faith that the people behind Premiere understand the needs of higher end collaborative workflows. This request is so obvious that it shouldn't even need to be asked.

It's true. It's odd that I can burn-in video track TC but not the audio TC. This makes it very difficult to do proper turn-overs for the sound department. Burning in the audio timecode is a standard need, especially in professional environments where audio is recorded as dual system almost always.
