Improve clip volume adjustment shortcuts
The volume adjustment shortcuts really need visual feedback: When a user hits the key command, the small gray box should appear momentarily in the corner of the clip, indicating the adjustment amount. (Same box that appears when we adjust clip volume via mouse.)
Eliminate "Nudge Volume +1dB" and -1dB shortcuts. They're duplicates.
Rename "Nudge Volume +3dB" (and -1dB) to "Increase clip volume +3dB". "Nudge" is associated with moving a clip in the time domain.
Rename "Increase clip volume" to "Increase clip volume +1dB"
Rename "Increase clip volume many" to "Increase clip volume (custom)" - and rename the associated Preferences field.
Currently the nomenclature is inconsistent, redundant and unclear.
6. Add to the "Audio Gain" window a "clip volume" field.
Put it at the top, separated by a divider, to convey it's separate from the other controls - but this dialog is a fair place to have this audio control accessible.
Since the window already remembers the last highlighted field (very useful), it could be a way to punch in custom volume adjustments and complement the feature set for adjusting clip volume efficiently.
1. Meant numerical feedback, not visual feedback...
