Font bug - Berthold Aksidenz Grotesk
Since upgrading my team has been unable to use our company font in Premiere or AE. It's our official company font and has been licensed, so we don't want to have to relicense it in Typekit. Please fix this bug, it's gone on for months and we've had to go backwards a version to fix it. Now it's wreaking havoc on efficient, as sometimes project files are created in newer versions of premiere.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to share this issue with us. Do you happen to know if the version of Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk you are using is a PostScript Type1 font? If so, there is a known issue with Type1 fonts where they cannot load into Premiere Pro 12.1+ due to a change in a supporting technology. We are working with that team to see if there is anything we can do about it, but in the meantime, you should be able to use an OpenType or TrueType version of the font, and transfer it to Typekit for management. If you have already licensed that font, you shouldn't need to pay for the license again.
Here's more info about Typekit's partnership with Berthold: https://blog.typekit.com/2013/06/06/berthold-types-partners-with-typekit/
Finally, if you can confirm that the version you have of Akzidenz Grotesk is not a Type1 font, then something else may be going on and it would be great to get more info as we haven't heard about any issues with OTF or TTF fonts.
Please keep us posted!
