The longer a project gets the buggyer
The longer a project gets the buggier it gets. There are signs, that it will crash soon (all of a sudden no video is played, only the last frame used is shown; trying to open a clip: source monitor stays black). If you close the project before it does crash, and you open it again, it stays in Media pending mode forever. The only solution is to create a new project and import the older one into that. That'll fix the issue for some time.
But beware: importing has it's problems too (crashing the app).
Please, improve stability.

Dear Lisa,
I use proxies for 4k footage. Mine is mostly HD, and I would instantly change my NLE if I'd had to create 720p proxies for my 1080p/I clips. Let alone the time and GB consuming process.
I am pretty sure that there is a problem with larger and thus more "complicated" projects. And proxies wouldn't help in the end at all. -

Have you tried using proxies? I had the same problem especially with 4K footage, and using proxies helped considerably.

Brian: Hey to import the Project Info a New one. That might help for a while. :

I'm currently working on a multi-part project that has about 15 hours of source footage. Opening, closing, saving, scrolling... everything is exceptionally slow. I'm on the verge of giving up and looking for another editing solution.
